Pardon me, but are you nuts? I am anti-illegal immigration.
I went to college, and worked for 35 years. Now that I am retirement age, programs have been cut because of people sneaking across our border. You need to get an education.

People speaking up and expressing problems they see and trying to find solutions or gain other information are not "whining". Got an education...do need a job though. You got me there. I guess right now I have a brief period in which I can actually do something about what's going on and invest some time in it before like many....they will wonder what the heck happened. Spent alot of years doing that myself and maybe if I had the time then....we wouldn't be where we are now. I blindly beleived the government would never take us to this place. Constitution and all. Laws and all. They would stand for us. Wrongo!
I HATED politics. I still glaze over with numbers and economics......but now I jumped in head first and it's a full time job doing research and writing and calling and trying to keep a third eye on what they are trying to slip by. Simple illegal immigration has led me to the NAU and a HOST of other issues I never knew were out there. I dropped the ball a long time ago and expected the government to do their job. Kind of like a parent trusting that the school knows what they're doing.....while I'm thinking I'm safe to put energies elsewhere.....they have a different agenda going on and are counting on me to not check up on them. They don't mind my participation as long as I'm a "yes girl"......but they aren't too happy when you challenge them. Right now I don't think they can wait till my age group dies off so they can continue, un-interrupted with their agenda. They're getting the young brainwashed...mids running around with their heads cut off so they can't pay attention....and a few out there going on with their agenda and a few of us trying to keep pace. I'm one that never did things when I was supposed to. Late here, early there......I was having my first child when my best friend was becomming a grandmother. Just never followed the agenda.....maybe that's why I have a different view on things.

A million years of education don't teach a person how to have a soul with a heart. Oh they ARE educated, just not the type of education that really counts. The person who said they needed a heart completely took the words right out of my mouth. Thanks.
And for the Americans that say that they took their jobs or whatever: Are you serious? They were born in countries where their government didn't care, where they couldn't find a job and even if they did the money wasn't enough, they sacrificed their lives to come here and receive better opportunities, THEY SACRIFICED TO WORK. hahaha and Americans who were luckily born here, OR people who had so much time and so much money that they could come legally here, a place where their government cares and practically serves every opportunity to their feet have the audacity to say they can't get a job because the illegals took it??? Yeah, that makes sense...

NOBODY should complain or whine JUST to complain, they should do it because they care about their country and the world and human rights. This goes for ALL sides of this argument.
EVERYONE should have an education and a job.
And you should not post unfounded "speculations" about people here.
If I think I am helping my country and the world I will continue to whine, and I expect no less from the people who have a different opinion than me.

I think Antis is suggesting that, for those who are anti-illegal’s you should support you statements with actual facts. I totally understand Antis’ frustration, because everyone who posts a comment insists that, those who have no legal status in this country are draining the economy, stealing jobs, and stealing your resources. Well show us some fact to support your statement. Not some letter that a “teacher” from California wrote, but hard core statistics.

Clearly you don't understand the key word here,ILLEGAL. They have no right to be here, they have no right to use services they did not pay the taxes to support, they have no right to an education system they didn't help pay to build. Their very presence is a crime,if our federal government were enforcing the law the fact is that crossing the border illegally is a criminal offense. And perhaps if we actually made people serve time before we deported them we would have fewer of them wanting to sneak across the border. Your argument is based totally upon the idea that the US has no right to it's own sovereignty, there is no way to consider that a rational argument. The only thing any illegal has a right to is to be evicted from the US when they are caught.

I have an education and a job. I am free to complain about illegal immigration all I want. It is my right as a legal American citizen.

We don't. Stop complaining and whining about others complaining and whining. I have already been there and done that. I got my MBA, and I have already worked hard so I could pay people to do the work for me.

A person can go to school for 1,000 years and still not be educated. When you catagorize and demean an entire group or assume what a person's status is by their accent, the color of their skin, or if they look ethnic then you are both a racist and uneducated and it doesn't matter what job, how much money you make, or if you went to college.

Of course they need to be educated. Most of them always generalize. They say undocumented immigrants are collecting welfare and Social Security benefits that they haven't even earned, etc, etc. However, they do not investigate before affirming that. In addition, many of them still call “Americans” to European Americans. Something even worse, they call the US “America” when all of us know that that is the name of the American continent. Almost always say “Mexican American” instead of Mexican US citizen. People from Mexico, Cuba, El Salvador etc are already American; they do not come from Africa, Asia or Europe. You may have a degree, but many of you are still illiterate.
