I mean, think about it... Christians are in a war with the forces of darkness, right?
In actual war, if you see an enemy about to snipe one of your fellow soldiers, you have to take them out... Somebody's gonna die! In fact, you are legally and morally obligated, in war, if you see something like that, to kill the enemy!
Well, if you are cleaning your sniper rifle in your downtown apartment and are checking the scope out of your window and happen to see an abortion doctor across the way, getting ready to kill a baby (abortion), is it not justifiable to shoot the enemy that is just about to kill an innocent person?
Sure it's illegal to kill, but you're killing a murderer! If you say that the Bible says not to kill, then should Christians not join the Army?
Should we let murder just happen?

So far, none of you have understood the logic.

of course....two wrongs make a right.....
great logic
what if, unknown to you, the abortion doctor was carrying triplets?
then you've just killed three babies and an adult who is just doing her job.
the mother about to get an abortion is going to get an abortion......if not from that doctor, another
unless you follow every pregnant woman around for 9 months (i realize that nobody will do abortions after a certain period of time...but you still have to stop her from thowing the unwanted newborn in a dumpster to suffer while it dies) ....you're not going to be able to stop abortions

Someone has been watching too many science fiction movies. True christians would not join the army or any other armed forces due to we don't believe in murder. As for the doctors who perform those abortions, we let GOD deal with those people. We can only pray for them. Murder is never justified. Thank you and may GOD come soon to make right the wrongs that have been done on this earth.

Absolutely not. But what is the real issue? Are we against the abortion doctors because they are doing the bidding of the mother? Or because we think that stopping one abortion doctor will save more lives? As humans we are capable of rationalizing almost anything. Hitler, truly believed in what he was doing. The present day general population wonders how he could have gotten away for as long as he did with such insanity.
My personal feelings are that the mother made her choice the moment she had intercourse. The rape arguement is a moot point, in this case, since the volume of pregnancies due to rape are but a drop in the abortion bucket. Life is sacred, yet everyday we make tons of choices that say otherwise. We smoke, we poison our bodies with drugs, preservatives, and put ourselves in harms way without a second thought.
My point is, if we think we can rationalize murdering abortion doctors and/or babies, why don't we try murdering cigarette makers, Meth makers, and manufacturers that create products that cause cancer?

Nope... as it is murder. What's more, early term abortions are NOT "murdering babies." but only fetuses. And, certainly any sane, intelligent person would accept the acceptbility of at least SOME pregnancy terminations. On the other hand, I don't necessarily support the idea of "abortion rights," or the practice of "late-term" terminations, except in the most extreme circumstances...e.g., when the woman's life is at risk.

Would it be wrong to kill a nazi concentration camp guard? If you or I was there and had a chance to kill a guard and maybe save hundreds should we do it? Remember it was LEGAL in Germany to gas people to death in these camps. LEGAL. And you would have been put in jail and shot for killing one of the guards.
BUT we all agree it would have been the right thing.
There is only one reason to NOT kill abortion doctors. The doing of it will be such a negative advertisement against the prolife cause that you will end up giving more ammunition to the baby killers to push their cause. YOu will probably end up with more babies slaughtered in the womb than before.
but still.. its a nice thought.

Ephesians 6:11-12 GNB Put on all the armor that God gives you, so that you will be able to stand up against the Devil's evil tricks. (12) For we are not fighting against human beings but against the wicked spiritual forces in the heavenly world, the rulers, authorities, and cosmic powers of this dark age.
You are right when you say that we (Christians) are in a war, but our enemy is not other people no matter what they do. Our enemy is satan and his emissaries.
One cannot be prolife, believe that abortion is the killing of an unborn baby, and justify killing the abortion doctor. prolife values the life of every person whether that person is yet in the womb or ending the life of one yet in the womb.
Our weapons are not rifles and bombs, but prayer and the Word of God.
2 Corinthians 10:4-5 GNB (4) The weapons we use in our fight are not the world's weapons but God's powerful weapons, which we use to destroy strongholds. We destroy false arguments; (5) we pull down every proud obstacle that is raised against the knowledge of God; we take every thought captive and make it obey Christ.
Ephesians 6:13-19 GNB So put on God's armor now! Then when the evil day comes, you will be able to resist the enemy's attacks; and after fighting to the end, you will still hold your ground. (14) So stand ready, with truth as a belt tight around your waist, with righteousness as your breastplate, (15) and as your shoes the readiness to announce the Good News of peace. (16) At all times carry faith as a shield; for with it you will be able to put out all the burning arrows shot by the Evil One. (17) And accept salvation as a helmet, and the word of God as the sword which the Spirit gives you. (18) Do all this in prayer, asking for God's help. Pray on every occasion, as the Spirit leads. For this reason keep alert and never give up; pray always for all God's people. (19) And pray also for me, that God will give me a message when I am ready to speak, so that I may speak boldly and make known the gospel's secret.

On your additional details: They understood your logic perfectly well. You just aren't finding support for it. You are asking the whole community to excuse you and give you permission for acting out in a violent way, and trying to justify that it should be ok for you to do so, as long as you say you are doing it in the name of the Christ, and expressing your violence by taking it out on people who believe differently from Christians. And even trying to incite others to join you in doing so. From the way your question is worded, it sounds as though you moved in accross the street from a clinic for the express purpose of stalking people, and you want to be excused for that, too. Next you'll be trying to justify killing a senator or other public figure for the same sort of reasons. What next, if you did do such a thing, would you expect your fellows to consider you a martyr when they fry you for it? It's not ok. Such decisions are God's to make, not yours.

It is definently a crime to kill the abortion doctor, but it's beyond me why it isn't a crime to kill an unborn baby. How is it that Scott Peterson was charged with whatever kind of murder it was for his unborn son Conner, but it's not murder when an abortion doc kills? Does the lady have to be a certain amount of months pregnant before they consider it murder? UGH!!
This is a very serious and immoral problem that needs to be taken care of somehow. I get the sneaking suspicion, though, that God will take care of it sooner or later.

Abortion doctors serve a very useful purpose. They save families from disgrace and inconvenience.
What makes you think babies are precious?
They are cute, I'll give you that. And they have some potential, if raised by decent parents.
But Jesus was dead wrong when He asserted that it would be better for a man to have never been born, instead of offending one of these little ones.
Leave the merchants of death alone. If you killed everyone who deserved it, there would be very few educated people left. We would have no one to lead us and make laws.
Just stop thinking about abortions and they'll go away.
Denial is the best friend of modern America. To think of killing doctors who kill reminds me of the uneducated response to authority that the Founders of America tried.
They were tax protestors and ignored commands, stole weapons and schemed to topple legitimate authority.
If you don't like abortion doctors, put sugar in their gas tank, but don't kill them.
It would put alot of garbage men out of business.

Our job as Christians is to love each other the way Jesus loves us. If I put Jesus up in front of an abortion doctor - I see Jesus. Therefore, I cannot hate, I cannot condemn, I cannot judge. I can only love the person the way Jesus sees him. Forgive him of his wrongdoings and allow the love of God to create peace in my life so that I can live peaceably with all men. I can pray for him and allow Jesus to change his heart and mind. I can tell him about the love of God through Jesus Christ and I can spread the gospel, the good news of Jesus and his soon return. This is all I am commissioned to do. Everything else in the job of Father God. He is merciful and forgiving and his door is always open to the sinner who wants to come in out of the rain. All that other stuff you said is good for conversation and "what if statements'..but if what we talk about does not encourage, increase wisdom and knowledge of who Jesus is, lift up the name of Jesus - then most of our conversations should be cut short. The more we talk, sometimes the more we kill people. (with our tongue) I want people to live and be free in Christ. That's all. Nothing else matters.
