If Jesus (pbuh) wasn't hung on the cross but rather was drawn and quartered, would you wear a picture of a man tied to four horses?
Or if he was hung in the gallows, would you wear a noose around your neck?
Or if he was beheaded, would you wear a guillotine around your neck, or a bloody axe?
Also, do you really think he'll be happy to see the image of his own death displayed everywhere?

I don't wear a crucifix. Usually, it is Catholics who display Christ on the cross. Most Protestant denominations will display an empty cross to show that He has risen and overcome death. He is the Son of God. He came to die for our redemption. The cross is ever before Him, because it was by means of the cross that He paid our penalty for sin. I do not think that the image of the cross bothers Him. I do think that seeing people follow a crescent bothers Him.

The Crucifixion (and thus the crucifix that Christians wear) isn't about physical death. Its a reminder that Jesus loves us so much that He passed through the ultimate punishment. Its a reminder that He is everlasting.
Its not like people wearing a rifle pendant to honor JFK.

i was once with a friend sitting and chatting
he took a stick from ground and asked me what was that
it is a stick
he took another one and asked the same question and i answered the same
he made of them a cross and asked
and what is this
so i told him this is a cross that christian pple put around their necks and its sort of holly to them
so he asked
"and what is the difference in that between this and what Arabs used to do before Islam.to make a statue from date (palm ) fruits pray for it and once they are hungry they eat it
i actually had an answer
but i dared
so he said because of the date statues Mohamed (pbuh)was sent for the world
so

But he wasn't, so it doesn't matter. The cross has become a symbol of his great sacrifice to save us. It is no longer a symbol of death, but one of eternal life. I think he is happy to see so many people believing him and celebrating his gift to us by sharing it with everyone.

Considering he did it specifically FOR us, I think he'd be very happy to see the image everywhere ! He wasn't killed in a motorcycle crash after having too many Budweisers, for pete's sake ! It was an intentional sacrifice.
So sure...however it happened, we would still honor it in some way.

His sacrifice on the cross is what the Christian faith is about. That's cool if you don't believe it, but I hope you respect his act more than this, right?
