I've never been able to burp, and it's not really bothered me until recently, i am getting awful trapped wind. Is there anything i can do to get rid of it? I have tried settlers and windease but they are not working, I am too embaressed to tell my doc as i feel like a freak?!

Sorry... after reading a few answers, just need to clarify.... i cannot burp ATALL lol
even if i drink a whole bottle of coke or anything fizzy!!
instead i make funny noises that make my friends laugh... it's VERY embaressing...

the best thing to do is to visit the doctors as obv you have tried the over the counter stuff and its not eased you rproblems,. you dont have to be emabarrassed, thats what the docs are therefore, just explain to them that you have a lot of trapped wind which you can't get rid of as is making you have serious pains and it is been going ona for a long time. then tell them what you have tried to remedy it with already. you never know, not to worry you or anything but it might be an underlying problem for something else, so its always best just to get checked out to be sure.

this may sound stupied but get someone to wind you like what they do with babys try it. it works i had the same problem hope it works for you

try a good gulp of fizzy pop this usually does it for me
