I always see people praying for our soldiers, which is fine, but is there someone here that pray for people in the other side of the battle?

Tough, right?

Of course, we all have enemies!! Even if you dont consider anyone you're enemy, I am sure there is a lot of people out there that dont wish you well. Whe I say enemy, I mean your boss, your ex-girfriend, your ex-wife, ex-husband, whatever... Yes, we have a lot of people that we have issues with, otherwise we wouldn't be here.

I pray for people everywhere to see the light and stop the hate and madness. I pray for my country but I also pray for the world as a whole, not just one group of people

We can't pray for everything, all the time. So, we make choices. People pray for the protection of soldiers because it's immediate and personal.

It's not tough to pray for others to be well and good and strong. There is no conflict of interest.

Prayer to a god doesn't make sense. If god is omnipotent then it knows what is best and already knows the decisions it will make. As by definition of omnipresent/omnipotent. Therefore your prayers are not needed for a god to do what it already knows. on the other hand some studies done say that say prayer helps. If this is the case it can only mean 2 things. 1. It is not the power of god, but the power of many to pray and somehow help others. 2. God isn't omnipresent/omnipotent and you are trying to win it over.
