I think you are missing the point. We don't believe there isa heaven. At least, I don't know any atheists who still believe in heaven. We are conceived, born, we live, we die, game over. And, I am cool with that. My immortality is achieved by the memories that my children have of me, as well as those other lives I have touched during my time here. And, I am cool with that as well.

Death after life, not life after death.

I believe that I should make the most of my life here on Earth. After I'm gone, I'm gone. I do not need some magical treat dangled in front of me to make me behave. Nor do I need it to make me appreciate this world, my friends, and my family.

If anything, the very concept of heaven is destructive to humanity. It is too easy to tell a slave that he should obey, a soldier that he should die, a child that he should starve because he will be rewarded in heaven. How much better the world would have been and would be if people tried to do something for the here and now.

After this life I believe there is nothing. So why would I worry about getting into heaven? I don't believe it exists. What are you going to do if after this life you are facing Thor? Does that mean anything to you? Of course not. Can't you understand that people are not worried about what they do not believe exists?

Man, you're slow. The only possible "correct" answers to your question must include the point that you're hopelessly confused, and given this isn't the first time you've done this, the conclusion that you're simply not bright enough to understand anything having to do with religion or spirituality.

1) It's spelled ATHEIST not athiest.
2) I don't believe in a Heaven, genius.
3) I'm going NOWHERE when I die, but my body will go in the dirt.

I don't want to go to heaven. I'd be paranoid the whole time. I'd be thinking, "Okay, yesterday was perfect, what's going to happen today?!" every single time I woke up.
But, that is just how I imagine this so-called "paradise". For me, Paradise=Paranoia!
Good thing I don't believe in that stuff, huh?

Huh? I can defend myself. First let's say Jesus and the Bible are 100% true. If that is true I can't help sinning, and erring like any other human. I have never done anything so henious an all loving being couldn't forgive, so why couldn't I easily defend my life?

Why do you have such trouble defending YOUR life?

Learn to spell, Margaret.

It's rude to continue spelling atheist wrong EVERY time.

btw, there is no such thing as heaven. Your question is pointless.
