Oh I think that would be the least of his worries about what his followers have been up to!

I am certain he will be joyous.
You see the cross, a small t, in the ancient Aramaic alphabet (not the modern) - called Tau - means covenant.
In the Book of Ezekiel - God sets out to destroy a town except for those marked by the Tau. You'll find that only in Hebrew study scriptures, the Douay Rheims and the Jerusalem Bible. All other texts just say "mark."
Those marked with the Tau are at least TRYING to follow God's covenant. Though, some of us fail miserably!

No the cross is not what killed Jesus. It was sin that killed Jesus. Not His, ours. The cross was just the means of execution. Jesus voluntarily went to the cross for us.I dont think He would mind His followers wear the cross or a crucifix, Chrisy is more worried about our sins and whether we have accepted His gift of salvation

I dont think He would like it, but would say so, and forgive us knowing we didnt know what we were doing. But, we should not wear crosses, as that is what killed Him. If He were killed by a gun, would we wear a gun.?? I just think that most Christians dont think about this and dont weight it out, and they feel they are looking to the cross upon which He died for our sins, with love. But, I never say look to the cross. I say look to Jesus. The cross was only wood. Jesus is Lord.

Personally I think He would rather see a lot of saved people wearing a cross than a lot of unsaved people wearing no cross.
I get where you are coming from, though I think it depends on how you view it, as has already been stated it is symbolic of the greatest sacrifice ever made, a problem arises though if we ascribe more to a piece of wood or metal than it actually is. As a symbolic reminder, maybe ok, as an item of worship definitely not.

Yes. Jesus will come back. The empty cross means that Jesus is alive.
Jesus was in the very center of God's will. He knew how He was going to die. He conquered the death. He fulfilled the Bible prophecy. : )

Yes
For the message of the cross is foolishness to those who are perishing, but to us who are being saved it is the power of God.

Maybe the bible says something about the white robes. So they would be wearing the white robes. I don't think there is any other things mentioned that his followers will wear in addition to the robes when Jesus returns.

That's an interesting question. I think he would be glad people remember what he went through, but would prefer not to be reminded of it constantly.
Oh, and in church how they have a Jesus on the cross above the altar! That would be hard to swallow.

The cross is the sign of His victory over the devil , sin and death.
The cross is His glory and His throne of mercy for you and me and the whole world.

That is pretty gruesome when you think of it like that.
If my mom saved my life by jumping in front of a bus, I wouldn't wear a symbol of a bus hitting my mom. That's pretty disrespectful actually!
