Hi there,

My trick is to drink a glass of water while I hold my breath and count each sip. That works for me 100% of the time. The key really is to get your mind off of the spasam in the diaphram. I know some people who simply need to stop and think about the next hic-up and that does the trick for them.

Good luck!

This is very simple.
Eat a spoonful of bleached sugar.

Basically, whats happens is that when you eat the sugar, it causes a muscle spasm that stops the hic-cupping.

none of the little tricks like drinking water upside down or getting scared have ever worked for me.
What I do is cough, count to 7, cough again (coughing will cause u to hiccup but youll have control over it) and do that for a minute and your hiccups should go away.
Sometimes it takes more like 2 min.... But that's the only thing that has ever worked for me.

hope this helps
good luck getting rid of them

Well there is a few ways to get rid of them. You can drink water slowly. Or hold your breath for exactly 15 sec. It also works if you just hold your breath for as long as you can. Another way is to drink water upside down. Hope it helps

I get rid of them by filling my lungs with air as far as I possibly can...holding the air for as long as I possibly can, then letting ALL the air out as slowly as I can. Then they are gone!! Good Luck!

I always sing when I have the hiccups. Singing controls your breathing and the movement of your diaphragm, which makes it nearly impossible to continue hiccuping!

i always do this.

A glass of water, and drink from the far side, that way you have to stretch your body over the glass and its concentrating on this that always works for me.
