Look at some of the spas or hot springs resorts around the country. They might offer weekend packages or get aways that include a private hot tub, spa treatments, massages, etc. For example, I used to live in Colorado and Idaho Springs or Steamboat Springs both offered those sorts of deals.

Where do you live that you're finding cruises are too expensive? Where I live you can get a cruise for around $279. Of course you won't have the ideal room, but how often will you be in the room anyways? (That rate is for 3 days.) Maybe someone in your family could spread the news to get you a cruise as your wedding gift. Everyone could chip in.

Try and get on TV for "Whose Wedding is it anyway" Or "getaway weddings" YOu still pay but maybe they have some ideas. I would choose a beach community with a nice hotel where people could drive or fly to, but the hotel can offer a nice small reception and then they usually gift a suite for free. If you can brin 30 guests and use their catering service. Have a simple ceromony on the beach.

Are you talking about a destination wedding? You can try a Sandals wedding or something similar. I think the weddings are typically free and the B&G get all kinds of gifts and things. Just plan PLENTY of time in advance so that those who wish to join you can get everything set up.

Here are a few ideas
Flowers
-Silk/fake flowers for the centrepeices and bouquets.
-Simple flowers such as daisys are inexpensive. Roses are much more money.Stick with the simply flowers, they still look really nice
-If your going to have a expensive flowers go for callic lillies, more is less. They are larger and you will need less than more
-You can always have your flowers in your bouquet real and the bridemaids fake. No one will tell the difference
Invitations
-Get a nice picutre of you and the groom and print it out on the computer and make the invitations yourself.
-Get some nice coloured paper with a wedding design on the background if you can and print the invitations on this
-wrap a ribbon of the wedding colour around each invitation to add some class
-Hand out as many invitations as you can to save on money
Tables
-Have fake/silk flowers in the centre of the tables
-have a round glass bowl with gold fish for the centre of the tables
-Instead of gold fish have tea candles floating in the bowl
-Have two wine glasses filled with jelly beans the same colour as the wedding colours
Food and drinks
-Buffet will be cheaper than a sit down dinner
-Simple white plates is cheaper than detailed plates
-Get family members to help cook the food the night before.
-Have cupcakes instead of a cake. Make the cupcakes yourself the night before
-Buy frozen juice and mix in the water yourself in a large punch bowl
-Cheap wine with a picture of you and the groom as the label. As your liquor store or wine store for detials.
Congratulations

I would try Las Vegas, and you don't necessarily need to wear a regular wedding dress-just a pretty dress...and you'd already be on your honeymoon. Most places have wedding packages that include some type of photography.

go to Mexico, you can get all inclusive at some resorts and the wedding is included. We are getting married there and we will have an ocean view room with a jaccuzzi and its $1000 per person. But thats your plane ticket, hotel, food and alcohol. Yes, I will be the drunk bride. It kind of seems like alot, but it turns out to be cheaper than renting a hall and paying for catering ect.

Vegas.
It's not all about cheesy chapels. The resort chapels and facilities are outstanding. They also do so many weddings that they are absolute pros at a great price. I was married at the MGM 11 years ago, and people told me that it was the one of the nicest and most professionally done weddings that they had ever attended. Plus, they can arrange for everything from getting your marriage license, to flowers, to the reception,...

It totally depends upon what you and your guy can afford yourselves, and where you are - then you can plan. Just figure out your budget, look at some travel brochures, and get good advice from a travel agent. They do lots of destination wedding packages.
