Forget the sharp words; I think he'd go through both the DNC and the Republican Convention with a bullwhip.

I know that if he were to return, it would not be to endorse a political candidate.
In the bible it read at John 6:14, 15 that others tried to make him king once the saw the signs he performed yet he drew away.
Also at another scripture at John 18:36 & 37 in any bible translation you like shows that he said "My Kingdom is not of this world"
So, I think by these examples, we can see that to suggest that Christ would endorse any political (man-ruled) government would go against what he was trying to teach. The fact the the Kingdom of God is the only hope for mankind and when upon returning to focus on the earth then every man-ruled government will be eliminated in favor of a perfect God ruled Government with Christ as king, who would be a reasonable judge that has gone through the human experience as the only one proven to not bow to Satan and temptation to fill his assignment as ransoming mankind from sin and death.

What if He returned after 2008? Why would He endorse an election that has already taken place?

So are you assuming He returned to Earth before 2008, like maybe a few months at least before November? Who's running?

If you know and have read anything about Jesus walk in the ministry during his time on earth - he had very little to do with the government. That was not his goal or issue to deal with. The people, his disciples and the others made him aware of the government as a way to try and trick him. Remember in the Word when he was asked he he paid taxes? Do you remember what he said - he told Peter - (paraphrase) go get your line and hook (he didn't even tell him to get the net which would have caught a huge number of fish). Go to the water and throw out your line - a fish will come upon the hook and when you catch it -in it's mouth you will find a gold coin. Take that and pay our taxes. I looked at that lesson as this - we can't worry and get caught up in the world's way of doing thing - yes, we just operate in this world according to the laws that we have to live by - but we have to understand that the "truth" of God's Word will supercede any law man has written. I honestly don't believe he would be around long enough to concern himself about the politics of this world - his only mission - just as he as given us - is to go into the world and teach, baptizing those who believe into the faith of God. Love them, help them, lay hands on the sick and they will recover in Jesus name. Spread the good news (gospel) That's all He would be doing....

Jesus will have sharp words for many ppl, including politicians as they appear on Judgement Day. But When Jesus comes, its to take us home to Heaven with Him.
But, Jesus wont be mad at those who talk of their faith to win faces and try and make the world a better place. His rage is at those who never followed Him or loved Him.
God tells us to speak out our faith to tell it to the world.
So, God will be pleased with the true Christians that tell of the coming Lord.

When He returns, not if. And there are NO candidates that He would endorse running at this time. He'd have to go ahead and rule the planet Himself.

Jesus does not endorse any candidates through any medium. All His words have been revealed in the Bible. That’s it, nothing more, especially in politics.

None of the above! When He returns it will mean the end of the current world system and the evil a**holes that run it...and not a moment too soon if you ask me. There is a special circle of hell reserved for the politicians and those who support war mongering.

Actually if you read the scriptures, when He returns to the earth He's going to establish His own government and be the head of it. So I think Hillary and the rest are plain out of luck...and they all better repent before he shows up!!

None of them. Anyone who thinks that all the world needs is their political party in power is far too naive. Jesus wouldn't endorse any of them because none of them are all that great. Not G-Dub, not Hilary, and not Barak.
