I understand. Just cast your anchor as far as your family is concerned they are number one make sure they know that, just don't deny yourself some off shore leave.

Time is very important for us single parents, more so than people breaking up who don't have children. Out kids feelings are very important, and this transition of yours, is theirs too.

Also, we have patterns we have to address. So for your childrens sake, really do your inner work before you go out and about. Baby steps.

You are right, it has nothing to do with your looks. Address your fears. Seek a little councilling, conemplate, look inwards.
Healing takes time and you can't escape that. Men and women both go through that and it isn't easy.

It's worse being on your own at the beginning. Learn to be good on your own. Then when the right person comes along you will have a better chance of making it.

I know, it doesn't sound very applealing. Anything can happen. These are just generalities.

Good luck. Be happy! The answers are inside you.

when my ex-wife and i divorced it took me a year and a half to date again. even then i jumped into a relationship to find i wasnt ready yet.
to move on it realy depends on letting go of the problems that led to your previous relationship's break-up.
you will move on when your ready
in the mean time take the time and become even closer with your children/child. you are never alone when you have children, and believe me sometimes they can make all the differnce in the world. i know my two children did.
keep your head up.

Our situations are like completely identical hun. Its the fear of being hurt and therefore we are very cautious and picky about who we choose.
It'll happen sooner or later. I hope sooner than later of course myself. lol
Hang in there and we'll find a decent one out there soon enough.

You better believe it. I am going through that right now myself. I am afraid to leave my g/f now because I do not know what else is out there. It has been a while since I dated. You arent alone.
