If you get constantly caught gambling, can you get arrested, and sent to prison or Juvenile detention

I played cards in high school with a few friends for small amounts of money. We did it at our own table and never made a big deal about it. Didn't have any problems.

That being said, schools have to ban gambling. Reasons include:
1. People at the school aren't old enough to gamble legally.
2. It is an activity that plenty of society views as totally wrong, and most of the rest of it thinks it is okay for adults to do in moderation (not kids).
3. Nothing will cause heads to roll like a 16 year old's parent calling the principal to say "My kid lost $100 playing poker in YOUR school."

You won't be sent to prison. You will be reprimanded. It's probably right. Just do it on your own time if you must, and if possible wait until college when no one will care.
