A. Ladybugs eat Aphids. Aphids are soft bodied insects that suck the juices out of plants. If you have roses in your garden, you have seen aphids. Aphids also come in a variety of colors and not all ladybugs like all the "flavors" of aphids. Ladybugs will also feed on scale insects and plant mites.

They eat teeny tiny green bugs called aphids. They are about the size of a pencil dot. The aphids eat up plants and kill them, so the ladybugs help protect the plants by eating the aphids.

ladybugs eat aphids and spider mites and cotton nymphs. Ladybugs are super cute and I was often told as a child if one lands on you it brings good luck. Unless they bite you and yes they bite its a pinch kinda like a bee sting.
