Win Lotto and keep anonymous?

If a person won Lotto, can he/she keep his/her name anonymous in order to avoid the hassle from media etc...?

Here in Michigan you can remain anonymous if you won. If I won I would hate to have the media or anyone who thought they could sell me something I don't need hounding me. You just cannot hide from the taxes is all.

No , its in the agreement you must sign in order to get the gold.
