can't necessarily say it's that great myself. I had a lot of trouble dating in my 20s; it was better than highschool but it wasn't the best either. it was a lot easier dating girls in their late 20s that were closer to their 30s than it was dating girls in their early 20s.
what Corolla is talking about is how demanding those girls can be. you're more so playing a lot of games and trying to do all the right things, as opposed to having a true relationship. girl in her 20s thinks she knows what she wants, and perhaps she truly does but she isn't quite sure how to ask for it, or how to assert herself to get it. she'll hold onto some unrealistic idea of what it means though, which is where you come in. twentysomething girl has a lot of delusions and idealization about what sex and relationships are like for the long haul. if you, as a man dealing with a 20 something woman, don't know either or aren't that experienced you have your work cut out for you. this is whether or not you're a man in your twenties, earlier, or later.
for this reason some 20 something perfer an older guy in his 30s or 40s because he's already been around the block with a few 20 something girls back in his day and knows when to pursue the girl, and when to walk away and leave them alone. he knows what to get. on the other hand, most 20 something boys are still working on keeping the upper hand with high school girls. but they're now, legally, too old to continue dealing with them, yet too immature to really get with the 20 something girls so it's a very difficult time. those ages between graduation, and being 25; that 7 year stretch, is about one of the hardest for a young man if he isn't already involved with someone, or knows how to get what he wants from a girl. it gets a lot easier in your late 20s ...
people in their twenties are rather immature in general though, looking back on it. we used to worry about which designers of clothing people wore or who drove what or whether you were middle class or poor or rich or whatever. whether or not you talked and acted "black", interracial relationships and stuff that didn't really matter, or weren't that big of a deal, in your 30s. we were rather shallow; Corolla may have been dealing with those type of women. believe me, if some girl likes you, or doesn't, for all of the wrong reasons, or empty ones, it'll hurt now but you can laugh about it later.

That's a pretty simple analogy. I was married at 21 and my husband was 24. Yeah, we kinda grew up together into real adulthood, but who better to share this experience with than someone where the base criteria was met by being in love?
-And by respecting one another as individuals and yet our relationship collectively? Full of fights? You bet. A lot of tears? That too. Result? -A couple whose love has blossomed into a lifelong committment and a child...
Adam Corolla (whoever he is...) speaks in an isolated manner...obviously. -Just looking for a popular if not dramatic response is my guess...rather than reality.
