My ex has moved away and is not letting me see my son, because she is pissed that I called DSS on her because my son came home with welps from a belt on his leg. I have seen my son on an every other day and every other weekend basis for over 3 years, however there is nothing in writing. I got a lawyer but does anyone have any helpful info on what might happen???

Don't do anything crazy, and if you have a good lawyer, a judge will probably give you at least joint custody. If she is abusing your son and you can prove then you might be able to get sole custody. Just be patient and let your lawyer do all the work, and whenyou do see your son, let him know how much you love him. That's all you can really do. Good Luck!
