You need to get to know them, treat them with kindness and respect. Listen to them in good and bad times. Communicate in a positive way, and be open to seeing things from the other side of the fence when there are disagreements.
Other than that, make a nice meal, dessert, make a mix CD of favorite songs, draw or make something with your hands to show you put thought and effort, it doesn't have to be perfect but it comes from your heart. Flowers are still a BIG plus in my book, I don't care if they die, I don't care if they don't last, it's the thought that counts. They don't have to be expensive, just be resourceful.
Whatever you plan, it's not about the money, it's the thought that counts.

You can always ask them but sometimes boys aren't that good with feelings. If you can remember the 3 A's to a relationship you'll be fine Always: Appreciate, have a good Appearance, and definitely a good Attitude! Hope that helps

Simple. Talk to them.
The more you talk to someone, the more you'll have the opportunity to listen. Don't simply blab at someone, ask questions.
When you really care about someone, learning about what they like becomes very easy.

Treat them the way you want to be treated, and if there's anything you're unsure of, ask. If you can't ask your s/o about something, then you don't trust them, and why would you go out with someone who you don't trust?

don't jump in to fast and make him mad at you for being Nice and do what you did in the begging and, just listing would help and then you would have the answer ,and truest in GOD to make it work.

well ask them or just look at their reaction when you do things for them . . . do they laugh. . . do they smile when you do certin things. . . just experiment alittle bit. . .because sometimes even when you do ask they sometimes don 't tell you. . .
