Bangs are the American term for the fringe of hair that hangs over your forehead. They are usually cut right above the eyebrow. Do a Google Image search for bangs to see some examples

You make the common mistake thinking that you have to believe one way or the other. The only thing any two atheists have in common is they don't believe in gods. Period. I rember in cosmetology school a british student asked why were were using a sexual term to refer to fringe (what they call bangs).
So bangs is the same thing as when you all say fringe.

yes it is an american term... it basically means fringe! lol took me ages to figure it out aswell lol!! hehe kinda crazy name for a fringe tho dont ya think?? bangs?? makes it sound like u have guns on ur hair or something!!! or symbols! lmao its crazy!! hehe well hopefully that has cleared it up for u!
