when will it be safe to feed can food and pouches again?

There will always be a risk. Until pet food companies start using ingredients that haven't been rejected for human consumption the risk is going to be higher than it would be if they used ingredients fit for human consumption.

Even with using ingredients fit for human consumption the risk there, but it will be less.

There will be a risk no matter what food you feed. Its just something we all have to be aware of, if we know the risk, we can hopefully protect our pets and ourselves from them

I'm sure it will be safe eventually. There are brands you can use now that have not been recalled. I feed my dogs Pedigree canned food. It's not on the list and my pups are fine.

yeah i feed my dogs pedrigree or beneful and they are fine those haven't been affected by the recall
