Give yourself a deadline. Say you'll do your homework for 20 minutes and then spend 10 minutes playing a game of dominoes or answer 3 questions here.

Because you are not motivated to do your homework. For you, homework is boring, and there is no reward except a pat on the back maybe. If you want to do you homework, give yourself some motivation.

becauese, like me, the lure of what's inside that computer is strong and offers more immediate pleasure than doing the stuff we SHOULD be doing.
just try turning off the computer completely and bite the bullet. use the internet as a reward after you've done you're homework... you'll enjoy even more and feel good about your accomplishment.

i don't know on the one hand i owe a lot of things to my computer on the other hand i feel that i have given my heart and soul to a machine.
computer is addictive no doubt, and i have learnt alot from it
but i'm really dependent on that i mean it's like a friend a human being not a machine i say and good night to it whenever it's slow or gets a virus i cry a river for it 's over the top i know but it really means a lot to me so u r not alone.
