How do I stop my adult dog from urinating on the couch?
How do I stop my dog (5 yr old Westie) from urinating on the couch? She is house trained and does not have a bladder infection (just had her check out at the vet with a urine sample). I believe its behavioral problem but do not know why she has urinated twice (once on my couch and once on the chase). She does not urinate inside and she was not left home long. Thanks.

Sprinkle or rub cayenne pepper at those places. But, will he look for another place? Ask a vet.

Has anything changed in the house in the last couple of weeks? Did you change her food?Someone new move in?Did someone leave for a few days she likes a lot?It sounds like something has upset her. Think about what may have changed or happened in the past month and you may find your answer.

You have to take time with everyday to take your dog outside to use the bathroom. If you to want house train your dog. When he does good give him a treet to show your dog that he or she did good. Let that be the only time to give your dog a treet or it will not work.
