Yes. The donkey did not err, only Balaam erred and was condemned for it.
Animals have spirit and personality just as people do and we will all be held accountable for how we treated the animals in our lives. They will be able to testify for us or against us in the final judgment as did Balaam's donkey. Therefore, be careful how you treat the beings under your care and keeping. Husbandry is alive and well in God's eyes, not only for your family but for the rest of creation that falls within your dominion.

Donkey's don't have souls! God was just getting Balaam's attention. I doubt the burning bush will goto heaven to ;)
