That is to say, R&S and Politics.

People, especially those religious nuts who will fervently disagree with dissenting opinion and will take said opinion as personal attack, will get trigger happy.

Do you think the risk is greater in these kinds of sections than in any other section of this site?

did not know there was a record, now you made me nervous.
If you are serious and do not try to put down the asker you cannot go wrong.
I made the mistake of giving a very detailed answer to a stupid question. They claimed I did not answer the question but really I was being insulting to their young innocent question.

The answer was like this,

do not pick up money on the floor because someone may be hiding ready to steal your purse.

it did answer the question but it was insulting.

Nope. The risk comes with your attitude. That can happen anywhere. My last violation was in Psychology, where some crybaby reported me for calling him a pigheaded dimwit. Go figure. I said nothing untrue, but apparently if you're not 'nice', it's a violation of community standards.

Yes, I think so. I once asked a rather silly question about God and the question got removed. It wasn't insulting or obnoxious or anything! People get worked up easily in this section.

The only way not to be reported in here is to be truthful and religiously tolerant.

Yep.

I got reported for saying membership in a race was a stupid thing to be proud of.

They said I had insulted the questioner. :)

Who knew white racists were so touchy?

Absolutely. "Out there" it's all about answering questions. Except for the occasional nutter, people ask questions, people answer questions. Not a lot of judging going on.

Obviously- you're guaranteed to get violations in this section because even if you answer honestly you will always wind someone up.

You would think so, but I have gotten some pretty weird ones in the computer section.

i had TWO id's deactivated last week & i did not overtly violate the TOS (maybe marginally, but not by much. almost everyone violates them marginally at some point).
