When I say "born into," I'm referring to the religion of one, or both, of your parents. I realize as a baby you can't particularly choose, but I mean do you still follow the religion that you were raised as by your parents.

I was born into a family which served God under a denomination. That denomination was BAPTIST. I no longer serve God through the denomination (practice and beliefs) of the BAPTIST. Instead, I have chosen to be non-denominiational (I believe denominations divide people) and have decided to follow THE WORD of God. There are many followers of the Word and you can sometimes recognize these by the word "FAITH" somewhere in the church's name. One God. One Faith. One Baptism. That is what I believe.

What Deke said: Everyone's born atheist. Religion is learned.

So, yes, of course.

Yes, I've chosen to follow Christianity for myself. I've changed churches and denominations, but I'm still a Christian.

Yes, I do. I was raised in a devoutly Catholic family, and I'm still Catholic. But I've definitely explored other beliefs. I am Catholic by birth, and by choice. But that doesn't mean that I've blindly closed myself off to all other options, and haven't intensively studied other beliefs.

Actually, I was born into no religion. My mom was an Aethiest and my dad was a non-practicing Catholic. My mom converted to Catholicism and my dad is now the Aethiest.

"Everyone is born an atheist" Thats was funny, and inaccurate. Maybe agnostic, but not atheist.

Nope, I was born to a Baptist mother, a Mormon father, neither of whom practiced their own religions, or taught them to me. I am a Christian, from my own thought and disicion on the matter.
