Judas didn't betray Jesus as told in the Bible. There is documentary titled: The Gospel of Judas that gives another perspective on what happened.

Judas was one of Jesus' disciples, and he was led astray by the devil to do what he did. I would never betray my Savior like that, for two reasons:
1) The silver that Judas got was only temporary, but his soul lives forever. We're only on earth for the shortest time, but we will spend an eternity either in heaven or, as blunt as this sounds, in hell, depending on whether we've accepted Jesus as our Redeemer or not.
2) The power of God within me is more powerful than any spirit that would try to sway me. Judas, because he was able to be swayed, did not have as strong of a faith in Jesus as he thought he did.

I think Judas thought he was helping. He knew something bad would happen to Jesus but I think he really thought things were getting out of hand and didn't want a lot of people to get hurt. I don't think he was a bad guy. In his situation, I just might see it his way.

Judas was only doing what Jesus told him to do, and that whole "Jesus died for our sins" thing couldn't have happened without it.
As for me, I'd tell Jesus to find someone else, though I would cooperate with the authorities if Jesus were involved in a crime.

every human being who ever lived betrays Jesus, we are all sinners, it is only when you repent and see yourself a sinner who needs Him as your savior, can you be washed in the blood of the Lamb and reap eternal salvation. We are then Sinners save by grace.
