I've had my Kittens for a few months now. One is "Tudy" cause she got a little attitude problem, lol. The other one is named Princess which is my favorite.
Lately, Princess had been acting a little strange and I'm suspecting that she might be in heat. She's become extremly affectionate, and constantly clawing and pulling herself across the carpet. Most recently, she started walking with her rear up, and clawing with her back paws. Loud Meowing....I mean the list goes on and on, and I don't know what to do.
Help me, lol (peace)

there are two solutions to this problem... you can either mate her which is obviously natures calling or you can either spay or neuter the cat. it's your call ... i have cats therefore i know what's going on. wouldn't you love to have some kittens around or maybe u can sell them or give them away to cat lovers. it's ur call do what is best for your cat.

Yeah she is definitely in heat and you said that she is a kitten so she can be spayed right away cause the best time is before her first heat which she is in now she i would get her spayed asap. If you do decide to spay her and you want her declawed also then alot of vets will offer a discount on both at once don't do it separate or it will be more money and you don't want to have to put your princess through a declaw after she recovers from a spay, you can have it all done at once. it was one of the hardest things to watch when i had my cat spayed and declawed i felt sooooooo bad... hope this was helpful

Yes, she's in heat. Make a vet appointment to get both of them fixed. Some vets will spay small kittens and others won't. Six months is ideal, but if your kitten is younger, go for it -- it's the responsible thing to do. Princess has no control over what she's doing because she's a victim of raging hormones, and she will do this often.

Spaying her would be a good idea nad the only solution really. Or waiting until she goes off heat. Just make sure she can't run away in the meantime. But in a few months it will happen again.

Any or all of the signs below may be an indication that your cat is in heat.
• Your cat becomes more affectionate than usual
• Your cat rolls around the floor
• Your cat carries her tail to one side.
• Your cat becomes very vocal and meows a lot. (This is where the term 'Calling' comes from) This vocalisation can become very noisy with loud yowls day and night. Her voice may become more piercing than usual.
• Your cat assumes a position with her front quarters on the ground and her bottom pointing in the air.
• Your cat's hind legs may 'tread'
• Your cat licks her vulval area more than usual
• Your cat rubs her face up against you or furniture more often than usual.
• If you pat your cat on her back near her tail your cat will raise her bottom in the air and may begin 'treading' with her hind feet.
• If she is a cat who is usually kept inside she will be desperate to get outside, waiting for any opportunity to escape.

If she is not already in heat, she will be soon. Most cats start trying in the spring & that is here. If you don't see any signs of it yet, take her to the vet ASAP to get her fixed. If she has already started, you'll just need to keep her away from males unless you want to have kittens!

Sounds like she definitely is in heat, and your best solution to cure this problem is to have her (and Tudy) spayed. Not only will it curb the strange behavior but it is also healthier for her and then there is no risk of her reproducing either.

She is in heat. Keep her away from intact males or you'll end up with a bunch of kittens. As soon as she is through heat, get her to the vet and get her spayed.

Sounds like she's in heat. If you are planning on having her spayed, now would be the time to talk to the vet. :)
