I heard someone say,
"If there is love, there's peace",
And one may agree with that, or not.

I think it's true but in today's world, there is so much hatred, there is no peace.

It depends very much on the kind of love you are talking about. The ancient Greeks divided love in different categories:
eros = love as possession
philia = love as friendship
agape = unconditional love
Only the unconditional love can give true peace, unfortunately it is rare in this world (in fact it is usually identified as being a characteristic of God).

Thats a good qoute but as long as there is love there will also be the evils of love A.K.A jelousy, envy, and even hate. Let me explian if there is a love triangle then there can be only problems and anything but peace and if there's someone who love not for love itself but because they are envious of another then there would be conflict then there are those odd couples who are only together because of the common hate they share for another and/or others

I believe that "true" love will bring about the spirit of peace, joy, fulfillment, happiness, and many other elements that God has in store for us. But I honestly believe that none of them could truly exist in our lives without LOVE FIRST.

Yeah, peace=love, but love can equal heartbreak, heartbreak can lead to violence, so love is not always peace.

Peace.
