My potention boyfriend is the oldest sibling in his family, i happen to be the youngest in mine, and i was just wondering if that made any difference in a potential relatioship, we get along fine now but will it be a point of tense in the future? PS-i have an older brother he has a younger brother and sister might he look at me like a younger sister instead of a girlfriend?

this makes no difference in a relationship. oldest siblings tend to be bossy or take charge people, the baby of the family is usually the "baby." I am sure he will enjoy taking care of you.

i don't think he will look at you as his sis but i feel the order of birth does make a great difference in personalities.

You both have to make a list and work out any differences and the most importantly thing is that: NEVER NEVER compare each other with your own siblings e.g. "You are just like (your eldest brother), why can't you just loosen up? He's just an old friend."

From my experience, the eldest in the family will always be the serious one and the youngest will always be the most carefree. Good luck!!

I think the oldest tends to have a personality that takes care of people, because he was probably used to taking care of his younger siblings. Being the baby in the family-- I can say I think the youngest likes to be taken care of. I think you might have the perfect match! Um.. if you are having sex with him.. I'm pretty sure he won't be looking at you like a younger sister!

I just got done reading a fascinating book on this very subject- it's called, "The Birth Order Book", by Dr. Kevin Leman (you should check it out for yourself!) Basically, he says that the "best matches" are generally like the one you just described... but there are variables in all things, of course. I recommend reading this book it's very interesting, entertaining, and seems to make a whole lot of sense. Dr. Leman cautions that no matches are "made in heaven"... but some really are better (for long-run potential) than others.

older sister and youngest brother are stable. Oldest brother and youngest sis are stable, 2 midsection toddlers are great. 2 oldest the two attempt to take administration. 2 youngest have not any chief. An in simple terms toddler and an oldest are stable. i think of the main complicated relationship is an in simple terms toddler and a youngest toddler.

Any man who compares his sister and girlfriend in the same light has got some serious problems.
You'll be lovers, not siblings.

it may come in to play in your different personalities, but that is a maybe. If there is love there, I do not think he will think of you as a younger sister, that is just creepy.
