Well that is a complicated thing that I didn't understand until December. My grandmother dies rejecting Christ. I had a very difficult time with it, until another family member told me that I had done everything I could for years. I tried to talk to Grandma, I sent her information about going to heaven, and I even would make special points of going to see her and trying to explain things to her. She didn't want it, she actually said "I know my husband didn't do this, so I don't deserve to." My grandfather died before I could talk to him, I was too young to understand anything.
As long as we do our part and inform them of the information we have, there is no reason to keep yourself from being happy about your decision to follow Christ. The Bible says that everyone will have the chance at some point in their life. There is no way that you can force anyone to make that decision. Just live for Him, and keep spreading the word and that is the best that you can do!

Look at it this way. If you go to hell also, you still won't be happy about Mom being there with you. The Bible says that "He will wipe away every tear". The only solution that I can see is for you to make sure that you and all of those that you care about are going to heaven. So far, it seems you are not THAT concerned about it.

If you truly believed in heaven and hell and you believed your Mom was in hell then you would do everything you believed you could do in order not to go there. Jesus said that if you don't hate those of your own family then you're not worthy of the kingdom of God. He was making the point that if you don't put him first then your love of your family will blind you to the truth, meaning, if you don't put God first in your life then you are blind to what love is and put your self first in those things you do out of love.
edit:
And you always have the hope that your witness will save your family if you are a believer.
