She doesn't growl, or anything like that, it just seems like she's all teeth.

It doesn't mean she's aggressive, it mean she's puppy. You need to teach her that this is not acceptable.

When she nips tell her NO in a firm toy and then redirect her to a toy. When she takes the toy, praise her lavishly. Whenever she goes to nip, try to put the toy in the way so she grabs that instead. Praise her when she does.

It will take some time but she will learn that mouthing people is not allowed, teeth can only be used on food and toys.

Your puppy is mouthing, a natural thing for her to do. Unfortunately she does not know that human skin is thinner than that of her litter-mates! No, it does not necessarily mean that a dog is going to be aggressive. You will need to distract her with a toy to chew on EVERY TIME she does this though. Tell her NO! and give her the toy to chew. If she still insists on nipping you, stand up and turn your back on her, ignoring her for a few minutes. Then go back to petting her calmly. She will get the idea soon enough.

Don't worry--she's just a baby. When she nips you, firmly say no and tap her nose with your finger (she's too small to do any more--you might hurt her). And labs aren't aggressive by nature. Ours may put her mouth around your hand, but she doesn't bite down. Labs are bred to be bird dogs, so they have soft mouths by nature, so they wouldn't hurt the birds when they brought them back to the hunters. You'll also notice it more now because 1. she's probably teething, and 2. her teeth are very sharp right now.

Puppies tend to be mouthy. They are often teething and need things to chew on. Get her some appropriate chew toys. Moisten some old washcloths and freeze them and give them to her to chew on. This relieves the discomfort of teething. When she chews on something inappropriate, take it away and give her a toy.

When you are playing with her and she starts to bite, immediately stop the play session and ignore her for a short time. This teaches her that play biting stops all the fun.

With these steps, she'll get past the puppy biting stage and be just fine.

No, it means it's a puppy. You can start training your dog with positive reinforcement from the second they come home. Depending on where you live, you might even be able to enroll in a puppy obedience class. I took my last one to classes as soon as she was 10 weeks.

each time she does, gently hold her muzzle and firmly say "No bites". part of it is teething, part is normal dog play with each other. you are the alpha dog. when you correct her, don't pet or praise her afterwards. if she continues, gently press her body to the floor on her side and firmly say NO. Hold for about 10 seconds and repeat once. then ignore her for about 10 minutes. Do not allow others to play rough with her no matter how cute.

Not really, she's a puppy and needs training. You have to train her not to nip I would strongly suggest you enroll in puppy classes. They teach you how to train your pup.
