what do you do when you like a guy so much but you are trying to take it slow and not scare him off and be realistic about it, and it's not like you don't have ten million other things you need to take care of and places you need to go, but @#$% he just makes you want to get married and have eight million of his babies?
and how do you know when obsession crosses the line from funny into ridiculous?
oh let's be honest, i'm already there. but it's still funny.

It isn't obsession...I'm there myself. I just have to keep breathing and not lose my head. I've lost my heart, but I can at least keep from misplacing my brain. Besides, he will appreciate you for who you are, not for being lovestruck, if you take it slow. Besides, a calm, competent, female is just who guys want to have millions of their babies :D

Dear Friend, This is what you call falling in love. It also depends on you. If this is the first time you like a guy then it must be as I love to call it exploration love. Which you really want this person all to yourself because you think that this person is the only one for you. When you want someone to like you, first you must be original and don't act like another totally different person around him or anybody else. So first you too must have alot in common. My advise is to just tell him how you feel. Because any girls can take him away from you anytime. And learn to open your mind and listen to what he wants and agree to the things he says. It's really important that you really think this through because he might break your heart later. And trust me it really hurts emotionally and physically. So basically tell him that you like him very much. And if he is man enough he'll say yes.

I think it's obsession if you think about hime all the time, especially marriage and kids without knowing or being with him for too long. I think we all do it at some point though. As long as you aren't following him to work or calling him all the time, you can just laugh off your obsession.

You need to take your mind out of fantasy land though occasionally to see if he is reallty right for you. He may seem like the one, but check for little quirks and stuff to see if you two were really meant to be. Sometimes people overlook compatability when they are madly in love.

well how old are you if you are younger then 21 then DONT get married hunny it is proven that if you marry to young the chances of divorce is doubled or something like that i cant remember the exact percent sorry

but how long have you been dating i always wait till the guy starts to use the word "marriage" or "love" alot. guys dont mean to do this but if they are thinking about telling you they love you they start to say the word love alot cus subconsciously they are trying to see if you will freak out every time they say "love" or "Marriage"
ha ha its cute but most the time true

so wait till you get those hints with him and then ease your way into talking about it but be careful cus guys scare of really really easy true me i know Ive dated some of the biggest scardy cats out there lol good luck and up date me on what happens

Keep doing YOU so he won't think that you are sitting around dreaming about having 8 million of his babies. Just continue having a life and he will (if he's interested) feel the same way. it sounds to me like you are obsessing over this dude which can be scary. I think you should snapp back to reality before you lose it.

Yep, been there, done that.

Now, here's my advice.... back away from the phone, computer, post office, or whatever means you may try to use to contact him. There is something to the catch for most guys- sad, but true.

Take out your calendar and start making some plans. Seriously. And pinch yourself every time you mention his name to friends. Because part of this is liking him and part is pure habit.

And good for you for seeing the humor in all of this. It's stuff like this that makes chick lit. so funny!

You go girl!

Infatuation is a feeling; real love involves a commitment also. Infatuation is just love of emotion. Real love, though, is love of devotion.
Only the emotions are affected in infatuation, but in real love both the emotions and the will are involved. Infatuation is more interested in satisfying yourself and the "feeling" than it is in the other person. Real love is primarily interested in the other person. It seeks to give instead of get. Love unselfishly seeks the highest good for the other person.

Okay, does this guy even like you? If not, this is crossing the line between obsession and reality. If you guys are dating or close to it, it's perfectly normal to imagine what you're life could be like with this said person.

take things slow, and tell him too. Thinking yourself and not sharing it with him is disastrous. Your Questions smells like Big Communication Gap between you two and also You people are not on the same page.
