I met this wonderful guy through myspace.He lives in scotland and i live in Dallas.We have been talking for 7 months on the phone everyday.He is coming out to see me in 2 weeks and may come back to live as he has family in the dallas area.Im in love with him but even though I know he cares about me I dont know if he feels the same way i do.Because he has never been in love or let someone get that close and it is eating me up inside.should I still love him and go with the flow and enjoy however long it last.should I save myself the heartache?

Ok...what if earth was hit by an asteroid tommorrow? Or what if you fail an exam next week? Would you stop living your life today in order to prepare for tommorrow? No! The same thing applies to relationships.
Is it possible to love him..Yes I think so! Then why would you want to walk away from something that you helped build on the off chance that he will break your heart tommorrow? Just because he has never loved before does not mean he is incapable of love and if he is going through all of this trouble to see you, why would you even speculate his feelings?.I cant say if he loves you or not..... but I can tell you that there are other girls in scotland,but it appears he is only interested in a certain someone living in dallas.Take a chance!!

Some may say it's totally impossible to love someone from a computer but...I've done that before. It's really easy for feelings to get involved from just meeting a wonderful person on the computer whose interests are the same as yours. Now quit thinking so negatively and let your guard down. You think negative then you'll get negative results. Just go with the flow for once. Just don't let your hopes up too high. Well people love Jesus, and I don't think they met him. But it seems to appear that you might be lost... Or rather emotionally unstable. Though I might laugh if Homer J Simpson touched my hand and I'd probably ***** slap George Bush's face. Emm I don't think love them perhaps the idea of love, or the ideal; yes that's possible. Love such a general overused word which has truly lost it's genuine meaning in this day and age.

im 15 dont know whether i can help you but i think....you can love someone you have never met, because looks dosent count, its the feeling that lets you know whether you are in love or not and also talkin is enough to be in love with a person, or just one look.

If you love him there is nothing that you can do to stop that~! Its not like a remote where you can shut your feelings on and off~! I think that when you meet someone on-line and fall in love with that person with never have met them b4 then that is true love.....When you do it that way you do not let someones physical apperance get in the way of who the person really is(though apperance should be to your liking)~! I think that he should still come down as planned and see what happens from there~!:) Good Luck~!

Love is something that grows over time, when 2 people are together, experiencing life together. It won't hurt to meet him and see if you still like him as you get to know him, but to call a long-term internet chat love might be foolish.

well, you should definitely give it a shot..you haven't come all this way for nothing! You never know that he might be the one for you..Just give it a try. I know you're scared because it happened to me also but you've got to learn that this is the only life we'll ever get and that the risks that we don't take are the one's that we'll regret. I'd say love him and just go with the flow maybe perhaps bring up the subject of how he feels about you or just hint at how you feel about him..thats what i'd do. Just be open and honest
