if you don't meet her everyday, take her out. you're the best gift she could ever have. anniversaries aren't necessarily celebrated every year. anniversary is a measurement of how long you've been together and the hardships you've been through together. maybe a slideshow of all the things you've gone through with and for her will be treasured all her life.

There's nothing like jewelry.
Or, if you've saved mementos from the previous year (ticket stubs, etc.), you could make her a memory book and insert comments about what a great time you had on a date or how amazing she looked on your first outing or how you were nervous to ask her out at first. One of the best Christmas gifts I ever got was when my Mom made a scrapbook of childhood memories for me. It's priceless and irreplaceable.

well first of all, Congratulations! Me and my b/f just made it to our first year and he made me dinner at his house and we watched a movie on the couch afterward. It was the best thing that he could have ever done and then to top it off he had bought me a necklace. So do something creative like that, girls really like it when they can tell that the guy put some thought into their presents.

Every girl wants flowers from their boyfriend. Then you could get her a pretty necklace or something. Try asking whoever works there to help you out if it's a girl, but if they look like they're just trying to get as much money out of you as possible, then don't take to much advice from them. Don't get her something you would want, like a football a leatherman knife (my mom's ex did that once). Get her something pretty.
p.s. DON'T get perfume. No offense, but guys suck @ that. Guys like certain smells and girls like others.

Plan something. A play, a weekend trip, a spa day - something you two usually don't do, or something she wouldn't do for herself. Jewelry is ok, but it's common and she may feel you just went with the obvious choice.

You might consider planning a romantic getaway. Women love stuff like that. If you were thinking about buying her something more tangible, I would suggest a nice bracelet (nothing crazy, just a little something simple that she can treasure).

It's depending on what she likes. Get her what you know she'll love. Or, you can never go wrong with a gift card. Like one of those Simon Visa gift cards that you can spend practically anywhere.
