its is love marriage actually,he is christian,..from my own understanding women Indians must give some Gold & Money to the men family,but in my case iam not an INDIAN.

No ! Your boyfriend and his family will pay for it. your parents will probably help because its kosher to do so .
otherwise you're not held obligated.

i think indian families still do dowries if its an arranged marriage. but in your case, i think you don't need to give them money. is it an arranged marriage though? are you in canada? where are you? just curious. im a filipino too.

no you need not give any thing to his family .in Indian family the dowery negotations are done prior to marriagen and mostly in case of arrange marriage in same cast.....

are you planning to marry him or buy him??? lol..you dont need to give his family an money but indian culture does have the concept of dowry so clarify that with your BF first.
