That this comes from Jesus Christ and transforms us when we are saved? That God really does change our hearts and gives us new desires and we WANT to follow and please Him?
That salvation is ONLY in Him? (John 14:6)
It is like supernatural when you receive the gospel and believe--God works in you and it is like the veil has been lifted....Just as 1 Corinthians says: It is the POWER Of God, the message of the cross, to those who are being saved- Amen!

Such beliefs are simply delusion, mere assertion, accepted uncritically by people with an emotional need to believe in magic and an emotional fear of reality. The transformation, salvation, lifting of a veil, all of this crap is subjective and untestable assertion. What the heck is "lifting of a veil." You have the Holy Spirit so suddenly you understand quantum physics. Not really. How do we test this veil? One minute you don't believe mystical nonsense and the next you do. Seems to me the veil and the wool has been pulled over your eyes. What is the proof? transformed from what into what? How can we demonstrate the transformation has taken place? You just behave differently? People change their behavior every minute of every day without any supernatural event taking place. Saved? Your god saves you from his own wrath when you flatter him correctly? If your god simply retired and quit bothering humanity there would be nothing to be saved from. This so-called power of god is exactly the same as nothing. I can measure the power of a battery, an engine, a pump, a bicep. These are real things that can be tested and measured. Your claims about god are just hot air that you can't back up with shred of testable evidence.

No I dont believe in the power of salvation. I believe there are people who join as groups that don't even follow their bible. I believe there are groups that have no better things to do than repeat whats written in the bible week for week, and for nothing. Yeah right love everybody, be nice and calm ok, but whats the big deal about it?

The only thing I see in the bible is okay, give 10 percent to the poor...okay...no problem...

but then: don't be homosexual anymore, forget it.
A gay person can not be christian, forget it.

I dont see the big deal people make about christianity....

It's okay if people want to be a good person, but I just dont believe all the things that are written in the bible....

I am here I want to be a good person okay, but I dont need to go to a church for that and let some stupid poweroriented wannabewhatever rule over my life and tell me anything.

Christianity is bla bla.

The apocalypse is bla bla.

My god is smarter than the god from the bible. My god is more than that. My god accepts homosexuality.
My god wouldn't say like the biblegod does: "you have been this and that and now I rape you, that's your salary for you being a who.e, or anything similar. Your biblegod says stuff like that, my god is not like that.

My people on this planet are not as bad as the biblegod says...My god has no problem with worshipping idols....

my god is not the biblegod. "salvation is only in him"...b-s.

I havent found any salvation in him.

My god is not male, also. My god is not a sexist, the biblegod is. What the biblegod told me about men and women was b-s. Men and women are equal. That's just some points.

Of course, I believe in the power of salvation. But I do not think that salvation is in the here and now. Salvation comes at death. It amuses me when some Christians tell me I must be born again to receive salvation. Or that they know they are going to heaven. If it was as easy as just saying it. I do not believe that to be so. But then maybe they are right. I just don't think so. And, I don't think God would put that requirement on people. After all it is just words.

Are you a good person? What a question, most of us believe that we are good people because we can look around and find someone that is far worse than we are. We can always point to the things that we think make us a good person.

But how good are we really? Dare we take this test and look at ourselves and see if we really are good? Hmmm.

If you are willing try this and see just how good a person you are.

The Good Person Test.

How will you do? Pass or fail?

Have you ever told a lie?
Doesn't matter how big or small, just a lie.
What does that make you? Before answering think about this, if I told you a lie what would you call me? A liar?

Have you ever stolen anything? Cost doesn't matter, a piece of gum, failed to give back an ink pen that you borrowed, anything.
What does that make you?

Jesus said, "You know the saying of old, you shall not commit adultery but I say that if look at someone to lust after them you have committed adultery in your heart.
Have you ever lusted?

Jesus said that hate is equal to murder.
Have you ever hated anyone?

See one day we all are going to stand before a Holy God on Judgment Day and he is going to judge us based on His Holy Law, the Ten Commandments. These are just 4 of them and how did you do? Guilty? I have broken all of these and more, what about you? How well will you do on Judgment Day?

If we break just one point of God's Law we are guilty of breaking all the law and Gods Wrath abides upon us all. Based on God's Law we are all guilty and all are deserving of punishment. But there is an out for us.

Jesus paid the price for each one of us, took on himself God's Wrath so we wouldn't have to face it on our own. Jesus was beaten, battered, bleed and died so we wouldn't have to face God's Wrath. He rose again so that we would life in his presence. Our crimes, His payment.

The real question is where will you stand on Judgment Day. Pay yourself or have it paid for you. Think about it.
