I've been growing my hair for about 3 years and I don;t feel like it is getting longer, just bigger. What I'm trying to say is that my hair is always spread to the sides it is about 16 or 17 inches long and it is never in place. I've tried using leave-in conditioners. Coconut Oil, Shampoo + Conditioner etc. I also feel like it is too dry. What should I do about it ?

Maybe you just need to get a couple inches off. You hair will grow faster and healthier if you cut it everyonce in a while to get off all the dead and split ends. Use an intense moisterizing shampoo but don't use panteen provee because it is awfull for you hair. Try products like Tresemea or Herbal Essance those always work for me.

1. Since you've been trying different products you might need to use a clarifying shampoo to remove build up. Neutrogena Ant-Residue is the best one.
2. Pantene has a shampoo & conditioner to help make hair smooth. Joico's K-Pak shampoo & conditioner are my favorites.
3. Get a trim. Ask for layers to give your hair some shape. Explain your situation and ask the stylist to evaluate your hair. Some people have hair that just tends to grow outward rather than downward because of its texture.
4. Jojoba oil is a good leave in conditioner or Kiehl's Silk Groom. Both will help tame your hair and add a little definition.

Your hair should grow 6 inches every year. Everybodys hair grows different though. If it is too dry try using extra conditioners and drink more water.

A persons hair can only grow so long. Try getting a hot oil treatment. It wil lgive your hair natural shine and leave it looking healthy and it will grow longer.

genty massage br head with dabur amla oil b4 u go to bed. once week b4 a head bath do a hotoil massage using the amla oil leav it on ur hai for a few rsand wash with shikaki powder

get a natural straightening (like a perm only straight) or get a revlon straightner
