My cat took it upon herself to bring me dead mice in the morning and leave them on my bed, and she would walk me to school. She was the toughest thing I ever knew. Black like a puma, fierce eyes, wouldn't let ANYONE touch her. Kids in our neighbourhood were more afraid of her than they were of the big german shepherd up the road. (this is on Crete by the way years ago). One night I got up to go to the bathroom (it was outside back in the day) and I was barefoot. As I was walking, my cat lunged at me, and swiped her claws at my feet. I stopped and looked down, amazed that my cat would do such a thing to me, when I saw the largest damn scorpion inches away from my toes. It was very poisonous (the southern winds bring eggs from Sahara). Saved my life that cat.

There's a degree of irony in having a screen name "Jesus is for Morons" and asking a question about animal guides.

Yes...I have animal guides...but why work on that level when you can go to the source. God will guide you.

I have 4 cats. I don't think I would take advise from them though.

No, but I have a black lab that poops all over my kitchen floor during every thunderstorm. Does that count?

No. I love my dog and while i'm sure that it could warn me about an earthquake or flood, it can't really help me in any other ways.

No, because animals are just - truthfully - dumb creatures that live for the now and can't speak. Jesus Christ is my only protector and advisor, and I rely on Him wholeheartedly.

No, god doesn't make animals that way. They're for our use, not for guidance.
