Raman noodles is basically just a little thing of dry noodles in a baggy with a packet of chicken, beef, or shrimp seasoning. You boil the noodles in a pot with 2 cups of water, and then add the seasoning. You take the entire thing and put it into a bowl. Raman noodles are normally just the meal, but people do their own thing and use them in salads, soups, or other things.

It's Ramen Noodles and they're a packed noodle small in size that comes with a flavor packet. You boil the noodles then add flavoring right before the noodles are finished. Usually people just eat the noodles alone. Ramen noodles are high in sodium so you don't need to add salt.

MMM, the staple food of college students. $.25 a package. We used to take a sauce pan, cook up the noodles and drain all the water out. Then we add the seasoning pack and melt in some mozzerella cheese or a Kraft single and stir it together. The poor man's pasta!

In the US, ramen is generally something college kids eat just like it comes from the package, because it is easy, quick, and cheap.
In Japan, ramen tends to be more than just the noodles/dehydrated-broth it is in America, mainly because they add stuff to the soup. Toss in veggies, meat, anything.
It's just an easy noodle soup, really.
