Tattoos hurt most on the wrist, top of the foot, on your spine, anywhere where there isn't much flesh

Well, everyone is different and every part of the body will feel different when being tattooed. Its hard to say what will be the worst for you but generally tattooing on areas close to bone and nerve endings and tattooing near joints is more painful than fleshy, fatty areas. However that's a generalization and can vary from person to person.
In my experience, most of my tattoos were just annoying, not painful. The only ones that really hurt was the tattoo on my calf going to my thigh and the tattoo on my foot.

Any part is going to hurt, for obvious reasons - you're opening up the skin just like if you cut yourself.
The rib cage is definitely the most painful, and doing a large tattoo that takes a lot of time and/or a lot of sessions, will be more painful than a small, simple tattoo.
My husband got a half-sleeve done that took 4 sessions and lasted about 6 hours each session. Let me tell you, his arm looked and felt like raw meat.
Don't go into any tattoo thinking it's not going to hurt...because even the biggest guy will tell you that it's not the most pleasurable experience.

I am not sure what you mean by "will this hurt if I get est." but areas over bone tend to be a bit more sensitive. You should not base the location of your tattoo on where you think it will hurt the least though. Get the tattoo where you WANT to get the tattoo. It's going to hurt regardless...there is no painless area....should just go for the area that you truly want.

tattoo artist call under the arh on your ribcage the no zone it hurts bad there. Also if you do get a tattoo that is big do it in sessions 2-4 hours a session and let it heal between sessions. My bro in law is a tattoo artist. The pain depends on you the most.

Mine takes up all the space at the top of my back across my shoulders. It didn't hurt until he started the coloring. And the worst was coloring on the spine near my neck. It was all done at once, not broken up into "sittings"... It also was my first tattoo.

tattoos hurt the most when done in an area close to bone and less in areas that are more meaty in general but every one has a different tolerance for pain.

everyone has different pain tolerances....and alot of different places on your body are different kinds of pain. on your spine hurts but its more of like a stinging shock and it sends it all the way up and down your spine....on your lower back with the more meaty and muscles, is more of a flat out hurt....not stinging like the spine but just plain pain! these are from personal experiences, i have also heard that it hurts pretty good on your feet and such bc it is closer to the bone, which on your shoulders doesnt hurt even though its on the bone, you can just feel the needle vibrating on the bone and can give you slight displeasure....i didnt like the way it felt much.
