that all depends on how the truck has been cared for throughout its life, but in general, yes...they were fairly reliable trucks. unless it has been fixed already, I would check it for intake leaks before i bought it. common to those engines

I've been answering questions on Yahoo Answers for quite some time now, and I don't recall EVER answering anything regarding repairs to them.
Therefor, I would have to say YES.
The only thing I would concern myself with is the fuel pump in the gas tank.
I have a 1991 Chev. 2500 with the 350 and have had to replace the fuel pump. It's a fairly common problem with GM.

that's from a mechanics and maintenance attitude...The G.M small vans are by using much extra high priced and time extensive to repair .As an prolonged time complete length G.M./ Chevy truck proprietor, I nevertheless offered my son a ranger, and if I have been to purchase a small/midsize p'up, it could be a Ranger, palms down.P.S., Mazdas are the spectacular comparable truck, distinctive logos, right down to section numbers at vehicle aspects shops...
