I'm a hispanic college student who wants to try blonde for a change. I have hazel/green eyes, a golden biege complexion and right now my hair is a red-brown. I see so many girls pull off the blonde look very well, but I'm not sure I can. I tried dark brown and it made me looked pale. I don't want to go platium blonde just like a honey color or something along the lines of that. Should I?

Like someone already stated you should probably star off with hightlights. Or You could do a light brown w/ dark brown highlights to give the effect that you have blonde hair (the hight lights will achieve this result).

Me personally I dont' think blonde hightlights look good on VERY dark brown almost black hair. Like I said I think it would be a good idea to go to a light brown and then get hightlights put over it. This is probably something that you will have to get done at a salon. Bring lots of pictures and get a thoroughly cosultation before you begin.

Know that since you're going light you're probably going to achieve some dryness so be prepared to start doing some cheap but effect in home deep conditioning treatments to restore moisture

below is an example but the brown would be a little lighter

You can go for the highlights with a honey or caramel shade- just keep in mind that it will require some peroxide which will damage your hair (dry it out.) If you decide to go ahead with the coloring, buy a really good deep conditioner and use it at least once a week to moisturize your hair.

The dark hair should make your pretty green eyes stand out better than the blonde. But, I don't see why you shouldn't try blonde once in your life. Just don't fry your hair.

GO TO A WIG SHOP AND TRY ON A BLONDE WIG THAT IS CLOSE TO YOUR HAIR LENGTH, AND THE WAY IT IS CUT. IF YOU LIKE IT, THEN YOU CAN DYE IT. :) :) :) have fun!
