We just broke up, we've been talking and his other line keeps ringing. He said he'll call me back later...he doesn't call....
Next morning he calls non-stop, leaves a voicemail saying he's sorry for not calling cause he got in late...
Is he already seeing someone else? Does he want his cake and eat it too...?

it definitely sounds as if he is already "talking" to someone else. Especially since you both just broke up; he probablly likes the other person more but is still a little "attached" to you, so he will try to take both for as long as he can get away with it. He is satisfying his own primitive ego in this way. I'm not sure how old you are so im not going to get into the birds & bees here, but if you want to read more on why men instinctively feel the need for more than one partner, check out Charles Darwin.

Of course that's going to be the 1st thing you're assuming. Quit with the head games and ask him straight out. If you broke up, he's entitled to date other people but if this is bothering you than obviously you still have feelings for him. I think the ball's in your court here...

It's a possibility but without knowing more there is no way to give a definitive answer.
He may be seeing someone else... Or he may be taking advantage of his free time now to hang out with his guy friends. Why don't you ask him about it?

Probably so, you may want to start to cut all the ties so that your feelings won't be seriously hurt by his actions.
