You can feed your bird these things occasionally. They are packed with protein. I don't think he is capable of understanding the concept of right to know, but he should enjoy these things just the same. Have a great year.

Giving bird meat is perfectly fine. Birds are omnivores and will eat fruits, veggies, meats (carrion) and bugs in the wild. Giving them a variety in their diet is VERY important. Giving a bird only seed increases the chances for health issues such as obesity because seed is very high in fat. Meats give the extra proteins that they need to develop good muscle tone. By giving your bird a variety of foods, you are giving him the best...just nix the BB-Q sauce :o) Hope that helps!

I give my birds some chicken and turkey all the time. My larger birds love the drumsticks as they eat the marrow from the bones.

Birds do eat meat.... They are carnivores!
However, I'd hold back on the BBQ, not so good for their digestive tracks!
They do enjoy Chicken as well!

Sure! My birds love everything I give them. Don't give them chocolate or avocado, otherwise, don't worry.
Try some pasta with tomato sauce, and stand out of the way because they may flick it all over. Mine eat chicken often, and they like spicy sauces. They also love wet romaine lettuce leaves...eat a little, bathe on them a little, lick the water drops off a little.

If they like it they can eat it. But on the bbq sauce hold back on that it can have to much salt..

in truth they should not eat scraps not healthy for them
