I'm going to leeds festival in august, from belfast. Does anyone know how tents work on planes? is a 2 man tent small enough to fit in a normal bag when folded down? or do u have to pay extra?

from experience flying easyjet from liverpool to barcalona and madrid, tents are not a problem in holds. just make sure its well packed. as long as your not over your weight limit and number of bags youll be fine

Unless im one baggin my gear, i try to seperate all the things that may look hazardous and put them in one bag...tent stakes/poles, knives, shovels, fuel canisters, etc. Gives them a one stop shop for eveything really, and since my fuel canisters need to be declaired, it takes care ofalot of my issues.

Depends on your equipment. Mine fits all my flighthold bags. I don't see a problem unless it won't fold down that far. Check with your carrier...
