That is exactly why God isn't blessing you. You pray because you want, want, want... What are you giving God? All God asks for is three hours per week of your time (Sunday morning, Sunday evening, and Wednesday night at church) and 10% of your income as tithe. That is very little considering you have 168 hours per week and you get to keep 90% of your money that GOD ALLOWED YOU THE HEALTH TO WORK FOR.
The Bible says that if you are not saved, God will only hear one prayer from you, and that is the prayer for salvation. No other. After you are saved, He will hear and answer every prayer because now you are His child.
You have the mentality that "God didn't give me what I wanted, so He's not real!" That'll get you nowhere.

Who's been teaching you...? the devil...? God is an "on time God"... He may not be there when you want Him to, but He will be there "right on time"... Pray, Pray, Pray...? do you know how to pray... have you been show'n the right way...yes... the right way... just to fall on your knees and place your spiritual order for this and that doesn't cut-it... your first blessing is today you have life... be thankful... and if God has given you the ability to get your"stuff"...go get it and be thankful...and save... be thankful... and set up your own business... then set it up and be thankful with His Spirit over you... God doesn't run a "bless me" club but His will provide all your needs if you'll only be thankful for what you've got... He won't entrust you with more till you can handle what you've got... It's all in The Book....

The blessing you have is that you are healthy and able to get off your own backside and be able to work, save and start your own business. Some people there is no employment where they live, no way of providing for there family. You have more blessings young lady than you can count stars in the sky. You can see, you can think, you have water, you have food, you have shelter, you have, you have, you have its endless. Those are your blessings. If you want life's luxuries handed to you on a plate what make you more worthy than the next person. Prayer is for giving thanks and what is for you wont go past you. If your glass is half empty then i suggest you leave the borders of your country and see life and smiles and thankful blessing when those people have life's bare minimums and are still happy and thankful simply for another day. Stop whinging and get over yourself.

Hi!!!!!!! There is no God, darling. It's all about science and what it enables you to do. Things don't JUST HAPPEN... you prepare your mind for it, and allow certain things to happen. It is all in our minds and our brains, it is pure science. People use the idea of God as an excuse to make themselves feel better about things. Face reality girl, and make the change you want to see, and stop listening to all that ladidah c*** everyone is telling you. make up your own mind.

Blessings are things that God rewards you with. Read in Deuteronomy about the blessings of obedience...Its is kind of selfish to say that we deserve blessings.. We do not deserve anything from God...But he loves us, and he will bless us if we stay loyal to him...The Lord will bless you, just dont get that idea in your head = (well im doing so much stuff for you, dont you think i should get something out of it?) Maybe God is testing you....Maybe you should count your blessings.......are you healthy? Thats a blessing. Are you alive? Thats a blessing. Do u have clothing, or a car, or pocket change, or food in your fridge? You should count your Blessings, cause i dont think that you realize that you are truly blessed if you are a child of God.. Every time i see my little brother and sister, them being healthy and safe, i thank God, I am truly blessed.....Just to have them as my siblings.....And when i get together with my family, i think of it as a blessing.... So, you are blessed, maybe not by alot of material things, like cars, trucks, boats, planes, money, jewelry, but you are blessed and you dont even know it.... May God Bless YOU!!!! In Christ

"Well I guess I have to get my own stuff and save
up all of my money and set up my own business "
That right there is your problem. Your waiting for God to bless you with material things.
He only blesses people w/ material things when their heart is in the right place and they don't ask for those things.
When you dont want or ask for material things is when you are blessed with them because you have freed yourself from the desire to want and feel like you need these things.
God provides what you need (food, clothing, shelter) not what you want.
And God helps those who help themselves. So get up, get your own stuff, save your own money, and start a business.
Theres no such thing as a free lunch!
Sounds like your just lazy.

I don't blame you for being disappointed. After all, the bible says, ask and ye shall receive, right? Seems odd, then, that you could ask and ask and get nothing.
If god truly is a loving parent, shouldn't he want his children to do well? To do more than just survive, barely eking out a living? I would think that a truly loving parent would be proud of you for wanting to help yourself and make your life better, not blow you off because you dare to ask more more than basic necessities.

Two suggestions. First of all, most peoples prayers do get answered--except we are usually so full of ourselves we don't listen for the answer--or pretend we "didn't get an answer" when we did--but the answer was "no."
So learn to listen. God rarely shouts--He speaks quietly. And--read James(at least Ch 1-4)--thats the other thing. God won't give us an answer--at least a positive one--if we arent following what he taught.

God commands us to pray as believers, but he doesn't promise to give us exactly what we ask for. He also doesn't promise blessings. I prayed and prayed that the Lord would allow me to get pregnant...he allowed me to become a foster mom. I also prayed and prayed that he would give me a car for my 16th birthday....he gave me a bike. He ultimately knows what is best, and that is what He will give to us. We also aren't suppose to pray for only selfish things. Scripture commands us to first and formost include praise and thanksgiving in our prayers...we are then suppose to pray for others, and then we can make true requests to Him on our behalf.
God is real, and he does exsist!
