My sister is going to be 16th on the 26. Any Ideas that I can do to surprise her, I was thinking of making a big poster and put it outside my office I work in front of the school. One of my friends in here is having her b-day the same day but she is going to be 59 any ideas for her.

Decorate your car with washable paint that says "Happy Sweet 16th Birthday" and have her name on it. Pick her and a couple of her best friends up in that car after school and take them for ice cream. Then tell her you're taking her out to dinner that weekend, just the two of you!!!! ;o)

Throw her a surprise bday party this saturday with all her closest friends, they love that, the sign idea is cute also, draw a car on it, assuming that gift won't happen, a pricey one:) If not it's always nice to do a surprise dinner, or dinner in general at her favorite restaurant. Jewelry, make up, and handbags you can't go wrong w either, have fun!!

How about getting birthday wishes recorded on a cassette from all her loved ones and close and good friends or record a movie clip of messages with a combination of both humour and drama.
Then wrap it up and present her as a gift.
It will be a lifetime gift which I am sure she will remember and play it again and again when she wishes to reminsce the memory.
The last time I gave a friend she was so touched that she was speechless and cried. Trust me it was beautiful.
It will be tough work though but its going to be worth it. :)

pick a theme that describes her and make the decorations match. is she a girly girl? if so go to some where like target or walmart or an party store. get some feather boas, get a pink cake. buy a tiara. is she sporty? if so go with a more sporty theme.
