wait 2 years until your 18.
unless you like having relationships with inmates.
if you really want to have a relationship with this person, you will have to keep it casual. Anything imtimate that gets discovered might get the guy labeled as a sex offender.
I know this isn't what you want to hear, but that's pretty much the reality of the situation.

Yes, it's wrong if he's a teacher and the age difference could be illegal. Make sure of the age of consent in your state.
