Did you say yes? Do you have a ring? If the answers are yes, then yeah I would say you are engaged. Have fun! Take it from me, I have been planning my wedding for about a year now, I will be married in about 2 months, they are stressful! But have fun with it. Tell him that you want to marry him but you need to wait on setting a date when you are completely out of school and you are both ready. My fiance asked me to marry him in October, we didn't set a date until February. I told him I had to finish getting my Associates Degree first before I started even thinking of the wedding. And make sure that you really want to spend the rest of your life with him. Marriage is not something you can play around with, it means FOREVER (no matter what Hollywood tells you).

if you said yes, yes it does. No matter how old or in this case young you are you are still engaged. If he asked you for real, not out of a playful way, but with a ring, and a sweet romantic little speech or something yes it does meam that you guys are engaged. Start planning the wedding sister. Tell me how everything goes, and about your big day . Good Luck ;)

you're actually not engaged until you determine you're. If he asked and you suggested specific (assuming yuo are 18+), then specific, you're engaged, i might assume. yet while he in no way relatively proposed, and merely form of posed the question, and you in no way gave him a right this moment forward answer, then i might say no, you're actually not. in case you determine you're engaged, do not take any crap from human beings approximately your age, the two. i became engaged at 18, married 2 months when I walked (besides the fact that if i might graduated 4 months earlier), and am fortunately married.

if someone asks you to marry them and you say yes then you're engaged, but you DEFINITELY don't want to be engaged while you're still in high school girl! wait a while, if you grow as a person between age 18 and 22 (which everyone does), you don't want to already be married to someone who's not right for you anymore.

Did you say "Yes"? Did he give you a ring? If yes to both questions then yes, you are engaged and you better tell you parents right away. If you said, let me think about it, or can we wait until I am done with High School then nope, you aren't. Good luck!!

That's a strange question. Did he ask your parents? Did he give you a ring. These are the things that should be done when you get engaged. Anyone can ask anyone to get married.

Only if you accepted. If you did, its a good time to think long and hard. Go to college, you'll have a blast and meet some great guys. You may even discover that you don't want to get married for the forseeable future.
Don't limit yourself, you're way too young.

Yes, if you were asked to marry and you accepted (and are of legal age to marry), then you are engaged. However, if it wasn't done publically and there's no sign such as an engagement ring, then it would be difficult to prove it if either one of you tried to deny it.
