I know he likes me but he doesn't give me any gifts or compliments unless someone else does. But he will give a women a compliemnt who is almost 300lbs. Yet he still flirts with me whats up with that?

He probably won't get you anything as to not give you to much power. He doesn't want you taking advantage of him. So he's trying not to seem as attracted to you as he really is because he don't want you running all over him in case you're the type of girl to do so.

Do you feel that you fit each other. No matter if he gives you a gift or not. As soon as you you feel self confident about yourself, be sure the first compliment comes.
You seem to compare yourself with other woman and her negative thing in her appearance. She might be more self confident than you are.
Try to criticize him once and see how he reacts.

as a bloke myself, we tend to be very vain and defensive. we tend not to admit our feeling in case we get hurt
Personally, i found that i was taking my other half for granted, don't get me wrong, i love her and she knows it. but i just knew she was there for me, which could mean 2 things.
1; i trusted her completely and knew nothing even she could or would change that, or
2; we were so used to having each other around all the time that i didn't see fit to tell her just how much she means to me.
she tells me that its easy to say ' love her' but it takes a lot more to mean it.
are you sure you want to have a relationship with this bloke or do you just want to empty his pockets. maybe he doesn't want the commitment for handing over gifts, but he should however at least have the courtesy to tell you if you look good. are you in a relationship or >

You need to let him know that sometimes you do want to be complimented or given some flowers just because to show that he is still interested in you..If you talk with him and let him know then he should improve...

don't be a spoiled little brat..
you don't need to give gifts to show that you love a person..
i'm sure he shows you in other ways..
as for being nice to that 300lb lady.. be glad he's sensitve and not a jerk\
