If you don't know whether you are engaged or not, you're too young to be engaged!

You aren't engaged until YOU decide you are. If he asked and you said yes (assuming yuo are 18+), then yes, you are engaged, I would assume. But if he never truly proposed, and just sort of posed the question, and you never gave him a straight forward answer, then I would say no, you aren't. If you decide you are engaged, don't take any crap from people about your age, either. I was engaged at 18, married 2 months after I walked (although I'd graduated 4 months prior), and am happily married.

No. I wouldnt plan on getting married at your age. In HS. You probably dont even have your own apartments/house/stable job that could raise a family/ what about college?
When a couple gets engaged, the girl gets a ring. If theres no ring, theres no engagement! Sorry! If he cant afford a ring, how is he going to pay the bills when you get Pregnant and stay home? Ring first, then set the date and get the Hall.

Let's see. Since you are about to graduate from high school you have to have some brains. If you said yes then you are engaged. If you said no then you are not engaged. If you haven't given an answer then you are not engaged.

Depends, is there a ring involved. As much as people say the ring isn't important, I kind of see it was sealing the deal. You can talk about it all you want, but the ring just shows you and the rest of the world that you are serious about making this commitment.

I would say so but be careful, you are still young and need to experience life. When I was 18, my interests and personality has changed drasticly. What you like at 18 could be totally different later on in life.

No. You are engaged when you have a ring AND a wedding date.
